a round of mustaches for all of my friends.

This weekend I took a much needed trip to my home land to wish my "husband" farewell for the next two years while he serves the Lord in Paraguay. The separation is sure to be difficult, but for the time we put our worries aside and together with our friends had a spectacular weekend; one that i'm sure we'll remember for a very long time!
Friday night we got our swim on, which should say enough.
.
Who doesn't have a blast swimming half naked with their best friends?
Saturday brought with it a constant state of busy, and a lot of laughs.  When we finally rolled out of bed, the girls and I grabbed a bite to eat with our man Shooter and headed to Orem to go shopping and watch some lacrosse in the freezing rain. While shopping with my dear friend Alyssa Oldroyd, aka Android, we spotted my true love from USU, stalked him a little, and in the process I got asked out by someone waaaaaaaaayyy to old for me. He was very flattering, and it was a definite boost to my day, but it would have never worked out i'm afraid. After our outing to Otown project "Paul's Birthday" commenced. We picked up some epic gifts, and met up with the boys. Our destination for the evening?.. The one and only Nickel City! The group of us set off on a mission to win as many tickets as possible and donate them to the birthday boy!
We did pretty well i'd say!
Paul being the generous soul that he is "bought" us alll a round of mustaches to rock for the night!
"A round of mustaches for all of my friends!"
After Nickel City I insisted on a Yogurtland run, and then we headed back to the ville to make one of the world's best birthday cookies. Take a gander:
Look's pretty similar right??
Finally Sunday came and went. I listened to my "husband" give one of the most touching farewell speaches, cried more than i'm known for, and said a hard goodbye to the one and only Thomas Mower for the next two. He said in his talk, "Things aren't ever going to be the same, but they're only going to be better." It's so true! I know my hubby will make he best of missionaries and am grateful for the memories we made this weekend. I can't wait for our future adventures!
